Read Like Leo is responsible for the personal data you share with us. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hola@leotutor.com.

For the parent or guardian, we collect information such as name, email address, account details, and subscription status. For a child profile, we may collect a name or nickname, age or grade range, reading activity, answers, and comprehension progress. We limit collection to what is needed to provide the service and parent reports.

We use information to personalize stories by reading level, measure comprehension, generate progress reports, maintain accounts and subscriptions, and improve the product. We do not sell family data or use children's information for third-party advertising.

An adult creates and controls the account. There are no ads, in-app purchases for children, or chats with strangers. Leo's conversation is limited to the story and reading activity.

Payments may be processed by providers such as Lemon Squeezy or Mercado Pago, depending on your location. We do not store complete card details on our servers. We also use service providers such as Clerk for authentication, Supabase for application data, and Resend for email delivery.

We may send account messages, reading guidance, product updates, or relevant offers. Promotional emails include an unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential security, payment, or account messages.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of family data. When an account is closed, we delete personal information unless retention is required by law or needed to resolve payments or security matters.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and provide notice when a change materially affects how we use personal information.
